In many areas, you could hear a pin drop as guests unwind by reading and floating, blissfully detached from their devices with not a phone or laptop in sight. Surrounded by meticulously manicured grounds and lush nature, getting around is effortless thanks to the warm staff providing golf cart service across the property.
The wellness experience is equally extraordinary. We indulged in treatments at the spa, and they easily ranked among the best we have ever had, featuring world class facials and massages within a stunning, state of the art facility.
For travelers with food sensitivities, the culinary program is exceptional. The kitchen accommodated every dietary requirement with absolute precision, delivering five-star cuisine at every meal. From the freshest salmon sushi and premium grade fruits and vegetables to handcrafted cocktails enjoyed right at the swim up bars, the dining experience is second to none.
While the resort features extensive amenities including a state of the art glass walled fitness center, pristine pickleball and tennis courts, morning yoga and Pilates sessions, and a nearby beach, we ultimately chose never to leave the resort. It was just that fabulous. Stella Island offers the rare magic of being whisked away to a secluded tropical paradise, all while nestled in the heart of Crete. A true unique gem.
